  Amazing couple own and manage these cabins..they show true bush ingenuity and the old "give it a go" mentality that is being lost as people migrate to cities and stop being "hands-on".

  met mark at the lodge when my wife and i had a overnight stay on the way to maky. we had our bull arub boy ,dozer ,with us . mark gave him a mat and blanket to sleep on , which the big sook loved lol . cabins r beautiful with big inclosed deck ,set in natural bush surrounding. will b sure to b back

  We'd highly recommend staying here, even in preference to staying in the campground at the dam.

  Stayed at awoonga gateway on our way from Townsville to Brisbane with the pup. Quality service, the pictures are exactly as they are irl, well priced and looonng carparks if you have a boat/trailer. Strongly recommend.
